DBA Street Series: the everyday replacement
Street Series is DBA's direct-replacement range for road cars doing normal duties. Rotors are available plain or T2 slotted; the slots help wipe away the gas and dust layer that builds between pad and rotor, improving pedal feel and wet-weather response. Many Street Series rotors also come with DBA's EnShield anti-corrosion coating, which keeps hats and edges from rusting, worth having on a car that sits outdoors.
Choose Street Series if: you're replacing worn rotors on a daily driver and want OE fit with a quality step up from bargain-bin discs.
DBA 4000 Series: the heavy-duty workhorse
The 4000 Series is built on a higher-carbon alloy casting with DBA's T3 tri-symmetrical slots and patented Kangaroo Paw ventilation, a pillared vane design that improves cooling and resists heat cracking. This is the rotor for 4WDs, touring rigs, caravan towing and spirited road driving, where repeated heavy stops overwhelm a standard rotor.
Choose 4000 Series if: you tow, carry load, drive a 4WD hard, or have cracked or warped standard rotors before.
DBA 5000 Series: two-piece for the track
The 5000 Series is a two-piece design: a replaceable iron friction ring on an alloy hat. Less rotating mass, better heat management, and you replace only the ring when it wears. It's aimed at track days and motorsport, with street-legal manners.
Choose 5000 Series if: you do circuit work or want maximum braking hardware under a performance car.
