Description
The Elecbrakes EB2 is the second generation trailer mounted electric brake controller that changed how Australia tows. Because it mounts on the trailer instead of the tow vehicle, any car, ute or truck can tow your van without a brake controller wired into the dash. Install it once in about 10 minutes and tow with as many vehicles as you like.
Proportional braking, recalculated 1,000 times per second
When you brake the tow vehicle, the EB2 measures deceleration and applies a matching proportional brake response to the trailer. The output is recalculated 1,000 times a second for smooth, seamless stops without the jolts and snatching of a basic time based controller.
Built in SwayControl
The EB2 monitors for trailer sway in real time and steps in before it becomes a problem. There is no separate sway hardware to buy, no trailer modifications and no extra install cost.
Bluetooth app and 5 custom profiles
Pair your phone with a tap for full system visibility, real time diagnostics and over the air firmware updates. Store up to five custom braking profiles for different loads and road conditions, plus a separate user defined reversing setting that makes boat ramp work far easier. Stored settings mean anyone who borrows the trailer gets the same safe setup.

What you need to complete the install
The EB2 controller is supplied on its own. To plug it into your setup you also need an adaptor to match your tow vehicle socket and trailer plug, available separately on our site as either an elecConnect adaptor or a standard Plug and Play adaptor. The optional EBR in-car remote suits drivers who would rather not use a smartphone.
